It was a cold winter night in February. A lonely girl sat at a bar. A handsome man...nah just kidding. We met at a friends birthday party. It was a silly night of serendipity. I noticed him because he was tall, he noticed me because I had a giant beer box on my head while playing a dumb drinking game. Towards the end of the evening, Kevin approached me and we talked for what what seemed like hours. He rescued me later that night by making sure I made it home safely since the roads were covered in ice and I was inexperienced in driving in these conditions. The serendipitous part is that we learned that night that we lived in the same apartment complex. Four years later, Kevin proposed in our little Airbnb room in Vieques, Puerto Rico.
