Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family in our wedding party!

Maid of Honor

Courtney Berntsen

Courtney is my Maid of Honor! I am so excited to have my cousin Courtney stand at our wedding. I have known Courtney since birth and we have always had a special connection with our similar hobbies and interests. We were in the anime club together, sang in the church band, and sang in the Venice High School chorus for many years. We were always known as the Jesters in our Madrigal chorus performances. We even used to have a YouTube channel for a short time called Curly and Red where we would cover songs! She is such a loving person and is so kind to everyone she knows. She always knows how to make me laugh! :)

Bridesmaid

Megan Murrell

Megan is Reiss's only sister! I met Megan over seven years ago when I went to Reiss's house for the first time. I always thought she was so pretty. We grew close over the years after many trips to the beach, family vacations, and hanging out at the house. I am so so proud that Megan also chose nursing as her career path too! Megan is so sweet and funny and I love spending girl time with her in a house full of boys. I'm an only child and I've always felt like we were family, but I can't wait until we are officially sister-in-laws (the sister I always wanted)!

Bridesmaid

Alexis Waldron

I became friends with Alexis in our nursing program at FGCU in Fall 2020. We became fast friends because of our MANY hours spent studying together, our dark humor, great food (made by her), her crazy personality, and great memories made in a short time. She is so giving of herself and always thinks of others first. She is the one that picked my final dress at my last appointment at David's Bridal. After not having much luck, I was happy to try the gorgeous dress that she found for me! She is so beautiful inside and out and has such great style. She is a motivator (gets me in the gym!) and is a supportive friend in Reiss and I's relationship. I'm proud to call her my friend and to have her as one of my bridesmaids!!!

Bridesmaid

Lindsey Ksiazek

I met Lindsey a couple of years ago when Everett introduced her at a party as his girlfriend. We are now roommates (along with Everett, Jared, and Reiss) in a house in Fort Myers. She loves to read, is super smart (Bachelors in biology), and has a great sense of humor. Whether we are just relaxing on the couch, chatting at our backyard campfires, or having a competitive Monopoly game night, Lindsey is always so fun to have around. She also helped to plan Reiss and I's engagement at Ginnie Springs! She is so kind and is a great friend to me :).

Bridesmaid

Melissa (Melly) Concepcion

Last, but certainly not least, Melly. She was originally Reiss's friend that he met in a couple of classes at school about three years ago, but we quickly became friends after hanging out at parties and in our friend group. She is also a super funny person and has a fun personality. We have had a lot of amazing memories together, game nights, trips, and hopefully many more!
Melly was the main mastermind behind the Ginnie Springs engagement! She fooled me into thinking I was going ring shopping for her and Paul, but secretly, she was sending everything that I said I liked to Reiss! We even got our nails done before the camping trip. She was one of my bridesmaids that went to the first wedding-dress appointment and I'll always treasure that. She has moved back home to work a full-time job, but I know that anytime we get back together, we will pick up right where we left off. I am so happy she is one of my bridesmaids. <3

Best Man

Jordan Sullivan

He's the best, man.

Groomsman

Erik Murrell

Like a thinner Reiss, but smarter.

Groomsman

Dawson Williams

Dawson Williams: pro angler, keyboard and mouse aimer, and movie theatre fart noise maker. What more could a man want in a friend?

Groomsman

Cody Dorman

Cody is like a good beer: stout, bringing just the right amount of trouble, with a nice bright head.

Groomsman

Everett Myers

The true college friend: from study groupmate to roommate to groomsmen, he'll always be welcome to sleep on our floor.
