We're tying the knot!

After they had both had taken a year and a half break from dating for various reasons, God led each of them to try online dating once again. A week into it, Emanuel almost had decided to delete his account, but January 1, 2020 Megan got on and they matched! They messaged back a forth a few days before Emanuel asked to meet Megan in person for the first time. They went on their first date and individually walked away thinking, could this be real? Over a short time of long conversations emersed with their common love for the Lord, Emanuel made his intentions known for the relationship. He was very clear that he was pursuing Megan for the purpose of marriage. Easter day, he asked her parents for her hand in marriage with their response of blessings and prayer over the couple. He then deliberated with her family to propose to her at her Grandma's house on Mother's day! She was shocked and overwhelmed by God's kindness and grace to her. Now they look forward to making a covenant before God, family and friends on October 9, 2020 to begin a new journey of marriage.
