Me and my sister go way back - since she was born in fact! Even though we have a 5 year age gap, as soon as she outgrew me in height she pretty much became my big sister; making me breakfast in bed every morning before school when I was in a dark place mentally, protecting me from old men who cat called me, and always offered an ear to listen whenever I had a hard time.

She's been there throughout my fictional character crushes such as Prince Zuko and Sasuke Uchiha. To unattainable men such as Kim Myungsoo from Infinite and L.Joe from Teen Top. When I actually started showing interest in real boys - she was there too! She sat and listened to my VERY awkward phone breakup with my first boyfriend at 16. Witnessed my first heartbreak. And to now! We're all very happy that she approves of Ash; she said she "likes him, he's very nice." Pretty darn good if we do say so ourselves!

Annie and I were instagram mutuals way before we actually met in real life, which is working part time in a Thai restaurant during our first year of uni. We still have stories to tell today from it. She is also the only person who I have kept in contact with during this job so I guess that says a lot!

When Ash and I were first getting to know each other, Annie was there right from the beginning: truly geeking out throughout the whole process and was the happiest person for me. It would not be right to have my big day without Annie - I am so grateful she's in my life and that she'll be there on my big day to celebrate with us.

If I were to describe what sunlight in a human form was like I would point all your attention to this angel.

Despite living in separate countries, we have known each other since we were 14; following each other's tumblr blogs and webcamming each other till the wee hours of the night. We have been there for each other throughout all our big life events and I'm so grateful that she'll be here for another one.

Sovy is the most loyal person with the biggest heart I have ever known. She continues to inspire me every day and reminds me how loved I am by her. Despite the distance and times when we are not in regular contact, she always has a place in my heart and I know I do for her too. I'm so grateful for our decade or friendship and look forward to the next decade.

I first met Ben in my Uni days at a house party and proceeded to meet him at many more occasions after that. Ben is truly the life of the party, and he has a unique ability to make everyone feel welcomed and have the best time. He is a world-class storyteller and story maker!

Ben is also an avid Lord of the Rings fan – something we bonded over when we spent a month making our own Ringwraith costumes from scratch for Halloween celebrations. My fondest memory with Ben is when we were skipping stones on the river Thames after a night out when I was feeling down. He was there for me and I couldn’t have been more grateful.

A heart the size of a planet with the spirit to match. I’m delighted to have him by my side as my best man!

When Luke and I meet up, we spend as much time laughing as we do chatting. Since we became close friends during our A-Levels, we have shared countless cinema trips, nights out, takeaways, holidays and campouts over the years. Luke has been the chief organiser of all these activities and without his initiative I would have really struggled to stay so well connected to the friends I grew up with. Even though I live 200 miles away, he still invites me to all the social gatherings so I never feel left out. Despite the many years of change and distance between us, our friendship has only grown stronger and my gratitude for all the things he has done for me is never-ending.

Luke is just the most reliable friend you could ask for and it’s an honour to have him as my groomsman!

I’ve never met anyone with a laugh as infectious as Chris’!

Chris and I met during the uphill struggle of our final year of Uni, as we desperately tried to improve upon our less-than-ideal 2nd year results. That shared purpose drove us to smash our final year and achieve the grades we needed! I don’t know how I would have done it without him. It’s much easier to study when you are with someone who’s on the same journey. Oh, how I cherish the memories of our 2am laughing fits in the computer room and living off cheap Tiffin sandwiches. Nowadays, we love nothing more than to throw ourselves around on rollercoasters when we meet up, since Chris is also a fellow adrenaline junkie!

Chris lifts my spirit every time I see him and we always live life to the full. I’m so excited to have him as my groomsman for the big day!
