Questions & Answers

They say there are no stupid questions. Only stupid people that ask questions.

... But not you, of course!

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by July 11th. Fill out the form on this website once for each individual guest so we may collect each individual guest's food preferences.

Can I bring a plus one / kids?

Please only bring invited guests. If your invitation included a plus one, please RSVP for your guest. We are not having any children at the wedding outside of the bride and groom's family members.

What COVID-19 restrictions are in place?

These are subject to change as new health recommendations are implemented. Currently, following CDC guidelines, the venue is requiring that masks be worn by all unvaccinated guests. Your cooperation is appreciated! If you have been vaccinated, you may choose whether or not you would prefer to wear a mask.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is cocktail / dressy casual, but really wear whatever you feel comfortable in and looks nice! The bridal party will be wearing yellow and dark blue, so avoid those colors if you can. We're happy to have you whether you show up in an evening gown or a dressy pair of jeans, but save the tutus and loincloths for another night. :)

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Please do! Feel free to share and tag us on your preferred social media platform using our wedding hashtag #gettinstapled
However, please practice photo etiquette and ask before taking any pictures or videos of guests.

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will both be taking place indoors at the same venue. There is a short (as in, like, 20-foot) outdoor walk from the ceremony space to the reception area. Please arrive promptly at 6 pm, as there is not space to wait at the venue if you arrive early.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There is parking at the venue. However, there is NOT overnight parking available, so please plan accordingly if you will be drinking.

Will there be an open bar?

Were we not clear enough for you on the invitation? Lol, yes. It's open from the end of ceremony at 6:30 pm until 10:30 pm.
Note: Bring your ID to get drinks at the bar. Also, do NOT bring your own alcohol as the venue will shut down the bar if outside alcohol is brought in, and then you will have a lot of 'splaining to do.

What are the meal options?

During cocktail hour, in addition to the open bar, there are plated and tray-passed appetizers of bruschetta, olive tapenade, roasted pepper and feta tapenade, regional cheeses, seasonal fruits, artisan breads, and gourmet crackers.

Once the reception begins and dinner is served, guests will have a first course of a Classic Caesar salad. Guests will then receive an entrée of their chosen protein:
Chicken - Chicken Marsala served with Mushrooms in Wine Sauce
Beef - Hanger Steak with Brazilian Chimichurri Sauce
Fish - Salmon with Lemon Butter Sauce
Vegetarian - Cheese Ravioli with Butternut Squash and Balsamic Drizzle
Vegan - Portobello Mushroom Stack
Guests will also be served sides of French Sautéed Potatoes with Parsley and Grilled Vegetable Ratatouille.

For dessert, we have some special surprises for you!

Are there any local places you’d recommend I visit while I’m in town?

We'll be going to Disneyland to celebrate the weekend of the wedding (Saturday August 14th and Sunday August 15th). We'd love to see you there if you'd like to make the trip!

See the "Travel" section of our website for information on the hotel we'll be staying at.

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Feel free to reach out to either the bride or groom however you like! Text us, message us on Facebook, shoot us an email, smoke signals, carrier pigeons, ...
